POSITION SUMMARY

Milton Hydro is hiring a Summer Student position to join us in the Customer Experience department through the months of May to the end of August. You will learn how to identify billing exceptions, use NorthStar/File Nexus and gain customer service and billing experience while assisting staff in the busiest months for finals, new services, and vacation coverage.

KEY DUTIES


•    Create and process orders and/or inquiries received by mail, telephone, and/or through customer personal contact


•    Contact customers by email or telephone for various customer service or billing related inquiries and/or notifications 


•    Scan sensitive information / documentation and allocate to data base for storage


•    Contact owners if tenants are ordering a final reading and no information has been received for a new occupant also provide Landlord with a CSA 


•    Process lawyer's letters for change of ownership accounts 


•    Set up service orders based on list of sales provided from builders/developers


•    Support full time staff with short term projects to meet business requirements


•    Work within Company values and policies at all times


•    Other duties as required

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED


•    Excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills


•    Excellent written / verbal communication skills; problem solving skills


•    Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment 


•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


•    Willingness to learn new technology and processes


•    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)

EDUCATION


•    Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program
