Role Description

This is a part-time or full-time, on-site role for a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist at our Calgary, AB location. The Acupuncturist will provide high-quality care, including acupuncture treatments, moxibustion, and related therapies, to assist patients in achieving their health and wellness goals. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and monitoring progress. The role also involves educating patients about lifestyle modifications, herbal remedies, and maintaining records of treatments provided. Collaboration with our multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated patient care will be key to success in this position.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and expertise in Acupuncture, Moxibustion, and the use of Herbs for therapeutic treatments.
  • Background in Medicine, or Chinese Medicine, with a focus on holistic and alternative care practices.
  • Exceptional ability to assess patient needs, develop customized treatment plans, and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Completion of an accredited Acupuncture program and current licensure or certification to practice as an Acupuncturist in Alberta.
  • Experience in healthcare or wellness settings is preferred.
  • Commitment to providing personalized, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.
