Dr. Connor Kerns, in collaboration with Dr. Daniela Palombo and Dr. Jim Enns, Department of Psychology at the University of British Columbia, is seeking to hire a part-time (50%) research associate to serve as lead coordinator and analyst of a study focus on social cognition, in particular socio-emotional attention and memory processes, autism spectrum disorder and mental health in young adults.

Qualified applicants will have a PhD in cognitive psychology or related field, as well as postdoctoral experience in social and cognitive research.  The successful candidate will have extensive experience (4+ years) in designing, implementing, analyzing and translating experimental memory, as well as eye tracking technology with a particular focus on memory and social cognition. Experience with multi-level analytical models is preferred. Furthermore, the candidate must have demonstrated proficiency in Psychopy, Matlab, R, E-Prime and Tobii eye tracking systems.

The anticipated start date is July 1, 2023. The position is for a 1-year term, and is renewable annually based on performance and contingent on available research grant support to the collaborators.
