Job Description

In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting Farm Boy's vision of delivering the best fresh shopping experience by providing outstanding administrative and people-focused support across our store teams. Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, you'll help foster a positive team culture while ensuring HR programs, payroll processes, staffing initiatives, and compliance activities run smoothly and accurately.   • Deliver outstanding customer service while supporting Farm Boy's vision of the best fresh shopping experience.
  • Partner with store leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to execute strategies that contribute to business goals and operational success.
  • Foster a culture of trust, engagement, and open communication by celebrating team achievements and supporting goal alignment.
  • Serve as a key resource for store team members, responding to inquiries related to pay, benefits, policies, and employment guidelines.
  • Provide support on ADP processes, including data entry, timecard corrections, report generation, absence management, audits, and system maintenance.
  • Support recruitment and staffing initiatives by coordinating job postings, greeting candidates, scheduling interviews, and maintaining vacancy and staffing reports.
  • Assist with the administration of the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) and Food Safety programs, including meeting coordination, certification tracking, training compliance updates, and workplace inspections.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely administration of employee benefits, WSIB claims, training compliance records, office inventory systems, and employee file maintenance.
  • Contribute to store success by assisting with other related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for delivering engaging and exceptional customer service.
  • Completion of a post-secondary program with an emphasis in Office Administration, plus a minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Level A First Aid and Basic CPR certification, or a commitment to complete within six months.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization, with the ability to work independently and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for supporting team engagement and collaboration.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
  • Previous experience working with ADP and knowledge of payroll-related statutory legislation considered an asset.
  • Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.
