How will you make an impact:

You will be responsible for running the grill operations, preparing food, and serving customers to ensure high-quality food service is provided. 

As a Grill Cook, you will:

·       Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and a variety of kitchen equipment.

·       Prepare item for broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing or other cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning and/or marinating.

·       Use established ticket-collection procedures during service. Responsible for records from area worked during service periods.

·       Comply with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.

·       Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.

·       Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigeration equipment Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.

About you:

·       Two years of working experience as a grill cook or in kitchen preparation and cooking.

·       You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.

·       You must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and dining room personnel.

·       Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

·       Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

·       Excellent communication skills.

·       Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
