Inside Sales Representative

The Role
We're looking for a Inside Sales / Business Development Representative who enjoys building relationships and having meaningful conversations with customers. This is not a high-volume call role—success comes from quality discussions, understanding customer needs, and providing smart solutions.
You'll focus primarily on existing customers while also working from a strategic list of target prospects.
What You'll Do
- Manage and grow a portfolio of B2B customers across Canada
- Prioritize customers with declining spend, then stable and high-performing accounts
- Spend most of your day on the phone having consultative conversations
- Identify opportunities to quote products, offer alternatives, provide samples, or coordinate in-person visits
- Work closely with the Sales Manager to develop solutions and strategies
- Pass customer service and order processing tasks to Customer Service
- Track activity, quotes, and opportunities using company systems
What We're Looking For
- Strong attitude and people skills (this matters most)
- Comfortable talking to business customers by phone
- Curious, solution-focused, and proactive
- Organized and accountable
- B2B sales or business development experience is an asset, but not required
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- One hour lunch/break per day
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $45,000 – $50,000 per year
- Commission or performance-based bonus opportunity
- Blue Cross Health Insurance after 90 days
- 90-day probationary period
