We are currently seeking a passionate and customer-focused Grocery Associate to join our team.

Job Duties:

  • Assist customers in the selection of grocery products and offer recommendations and product information as required.
  • Ensure that inventory levels and product quality are maintained, and that displays are fully stocked, clean, and organized.
  • Adhere to established procedures for rotating stock, checking for expired items, and minimizing shrinkage.
  • Ensure accurate product pricing and signage, managing markdowns, markups, and labeling as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the workplace, including the upkeep of work tools, warehouse areas, walk-in coolers, and displays.
  • Comply with food safety, sanitation, and cleaning standards, ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in retail sales or supermarkets is an advantage but not mandatory; candidates with less experience are welcome to apply as on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods. Willingness to work shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays.
  • Able to communicate in English; bilingual skills in Mandarin or Chinese are a plus.
  • Only candidates who are legally authorized to work in Canada and available to work full-time will be considered.
