Capsule Pharmacy is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to expand our multidisciplinary team
The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for preparation of medications and injections for in-clinic administration, as well as patient management responsibilities as part of the patient's healthcare team.
This position will include joining our in-office team. We are looking for an individual who can establish and maintain open, effective communication and coordination between patients, physicians, and treatment teams to ensure a high level of patient care. This Nurse will be responsible for making patient medications available as prescribed and ensuring medication policies and procedures are adhered to. An expanded scope of this role may include patient case management, insurance navigation and patient training for medication use.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proof of nursing license, insurance, and registration in good standing
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- Excellent communication skills required
- Capable of building workflows
- Ability to coordinate patient care with other healthcare practitioners
- Assist patients with medication access and education
