We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentists during various procedures. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise, organizational skills, and a compassionate approach to patient interaction. The candidate must possess strong knowledge and practical experience in IPAC protocols.

Hours:

Monday: 9:00am-8:00 pm

Tuesady: 9:00 am - 7:00pm

Wednesday: 8:00am-5:00 pm

Thursday: 8:00am-5:00 pm

One Saturday a month: 9:00am-3:00 pm

Duties

  • Assist the dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
  • Take digital x-rays (Carestream, Gendex)
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Tracker dental software system
  • Stay updated on dental terminology and best practices in dental assisting.

Skills

  • Proficiency in using dental software, Tracker preferred
  • Experience in Invisalign, endo and crown, and bridge, as well as basic restorative procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • iTero experience is an asset
  • Ability to perform dental assisting tasks with precision and care.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 – 37 per week
