Club Operations Associate

(Looking for Employee to cover Evening Shifts and Weekends)
(3:30PM - 10:15PM every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
Join our dynamic team as a Club Operations Associate and become an integral part of creating memorable experiences for our members and guests. In this role, you will ensure that all operations run smoothly and efficiently while adhering to the highest standards of service. Your primary focus will be on maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, managing day-to-day tasks, and fostering positive relationships within the Club community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement and Service:
- Learn and operate our Club Operations software; help members book & cancel reservations etc.
- Checking out customers & operating POS System
- Actively interact with members, guests, and clients throughout their visit, engaging in conversation to ensure they feel welcomed and valued.
- Gather feedback on their experiences, using this information to drive continuous improvement in service and member satisfaction.
- Respond promptly to member inquiries and complaints, tracking issues and ensuring corrective actions are taken to achieve complete satisfaction.
- Replenish towel stock at the front desk, ensuring that it is always well-stocked and ready for use.
- Inspections and Safety Protocols:
- Conduct routine inspections of the Club's facilities, including courts, bathrooms, and common areas, taking immediate action to correct any deficiencies found.
- Ensure that the physical environment of the Club is safe and clean, completing necessary cleaning tasks and reporting maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Turn on the sauna and sauna light, checking that nothing has been left inside and that all change rooms are clean and stocked.
Facility Maintenance and Cleanliness:
- Maintain cleanliness by regularly checking and emptying garbage cans throughout the facility.
- Ensure courts are properly set up and tidy, leaving essential items in place.
- Oversee the cleanliness of the lounge area, ensuring a pleasant space for members to relax.
- Keep restrooms and locker rooms well-stocked and in pristine condition for all guests.
- Create an inviting atmosphere by managing lighting and climate controls in key areas.
- Keep the vending machine stocked with a variety of refreshments for member convenience.
- Ensure all equipment, such as the ball machine, is ready for use.
- Monitor the cleanliness of the lounge area, wiping down tables and checking the dishwasher.
- Ensure that all restrooms and locker rooms are clean and well-stocked. This includes checking and replenishing toilet paper and paper towel dispensers, as well as maintaining soap and shampoo supplies.
- Emergency Response Duties:
- Serve as the First Responder for emergency situations, including administering First Aid, CPR, and responding to fire alarms or other emergencies.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on emergency protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in the Private Club or Hospitality Industry (Front Office, Guest Service, etc.) is required.
- Experience in Food & Beverage (F&B) operations is a valuable asset and will enhance your ability to engage with our diverse clientele.
- Certifications:
- Smart Serve and Standard First Aid & CPR Certification are required prior to beginning employment.
- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective member interaction and report generation.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for managing multiple tasks and ensuring a clean, safe environment.
- A polished and personable demeanor is necessary, as you will be the face of the Club for our members and guests.
- Flexibility:
- The ideal candidate must be flexible and available to work weekends and evenings, as these are peak times for member activities and events.
Additional Information:
This role is not limited to the tasks listed above; you will be expected to adapt and respond to the evolving needs of the Club and its members. Additional responsibilities may arise as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the Club.
