Position: Home Support Worker

Brighter Staffing Agency is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Support Workers. As either a Part-time or a full-time, permanent employee, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others while also building a fulfilling and rewarding career.

Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care and assistance to clients in their own homes, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders

- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up

- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided

- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals

- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a healthcare or home support role is an asset

- Compassionate and patient demeanor

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle

- Clear criminal background check and vulnerable sector screening
