The Candidate:

The successful applicant for the server position will be a team player and look forward to challenges and thinking outside the box. They will take pride in a job well done and be able to multitask. They will enjoy working with seniors and look forward to interactions. This position is mainly days and includes every other weekend. There may be an occasional afternoon shift (ends at 7pm).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete departmental cleaning and ware washing as required.
  • Be knowledgeable of and practice residence's fire and safety programs.
  • Serve food to residents observing special diet restrictions, resident preferences and outlined departmental procedures.
  • Clear tables, and safely operate dishwasher.
  • Practice excellent customer service.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Willingness and ability to learn.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, stand and walk short distances throughout the day, and tolerate heat from the kitchen area
  • Must be able to pass a Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check
