Job Description:

  • Work with Process Improvement Leads and Process Automation Analysts, providing guidance and stakeholder engagement.
  • Oversee a portfolio of process improvement projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and Operational Excellence strategy.
  • Drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to eliminate waste, improve efficiency, and deliver measurable business results.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to build organizational capability in process improvement and change management.
  • Establish and champion Business Process Management (BPM) frameworks, tools, and templates to standardize processes across the organization.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and key process owners to identify improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Lead automation and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) intake and management, ensuring successful deployment and adoption.
  • Support change management activities, addressing roadblocks and ensuring smooth implementation of new processes and technologies.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, KPIs, and outcomes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Continuously identify and implement improvements within the department and across the organization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Support the priorities of multiple teams and provide coaching to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to build alignment and secure sponsorship for initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and dashboards to communicate progress and results.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts on business cases for technology and automation initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, safety standards, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in process improvement and change management.
  • Training in Process Management, Change Management, Quality Management, and/or Lean methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead change and influence at all organizational levels.
  • Solid financial acumen (budgeting, ROI analysis) and project management expertise.
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar or the Caterpillar dealer organization is an asset.

Important:

  • This position may be based out of Edmonton, Calgary, or Fort McMurray town shop facilities.
  • Permanent, full-time role.
  • Monday – Friday, 5x2 role.
