Job Overview
Join our Steel Door Manufacturing Group at Apex as a CNC Press Brake Operator. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC punch, press brake, and shear machines to support our production schedule. You will work closely with the Production Supervisor and team to ensure precision, efficiency, and safety in every task.
Responsabilities
• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC punch and press brake equipment.
• Load and prepare materials for cutting, bending, and punching operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and production documents.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and use precision measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow production schedules and quality standards.
• Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement.
• Support other production activities as needed.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is an asset.
• Experience in CNC press brake or metal fabrication preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and measuring tools.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and fast-paced environments.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow written/verbal instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
