Role Description

This is an internship role for a Frontend Engineer. As a Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing user-facing applications by implementing designs, creating interactive components, and maintaining responsive web interfaces. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend functionality with backend systems and ensure a seamless user experience. This is a hybrid role based in Vancouver, BC, with flexible options for some remote work.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design
  • Understanding of Software Development and Web Development concepts
  • Exposure to Back-End Web Development is a plus
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar technologies is an asset
  • Proficient problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Previous experience with hybrid work environments is an asset
