Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to blueprints and specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical knowledge and experience in welding and fabrication.

Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding requirements

  • Set up welding equipment and select appropriate tools and materials

  • Measure and mark workpieces using calipers, rulers, and other measuring instruments

  • Operate power tools such as grinders, drills, and saws to prepare materials for welding

  • Perform various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding

  • Use plasma cutting equipment to cut metal pieces as needed

  • Inspect welds for accuracy and quality control

  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills:

  • Strong mechanical knowledge - Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding welding specifications - Experience operating power tools and machinery - Ability to use calipers and other measuring instruments accurately - Knowledge of various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding - Familiarity with plasma cutting equipment - Ability to build, weld, fabricate, and assemble metal components - Experience operating cranes or other lifting equipment is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.43-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
