Role Highlights:

  • Founding Team Collaboration:
    Work side by side with the CTO and founding team to shape the vision of our QA organization.
  • Automation Framework Development:
     Build, maintain, and optimize end-to-end automation frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing.
  • Manual Testing:
     Execute manual test cases for new features, edge cases, and complex workflows that require human validation.
  • Continuous Integration:
     Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines to improve release reliability and speed.
  • Startup Agility:
     Thrive in a dynamic environment where you can have a direct impact on the product and process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated test frameworks for web UI, APIs, and load testing.
  • Perform manual functional and regression testing for new features and critical releases.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to define test strategies and ensure testability in design.

Qualifications:

  • Automation Expertise:
     3+ years in QA automation within SaaS or startup environments.
  • Manual Testing Skills:
     Experience performing hands-on functional and exploratory testing.
  • Test Automation Skills:
     Hands-on experience with front test automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Puppeteer, Selenium, etc). 1-3 years of experience.
  • JavaScript Unit Testing:
     Proficiency in JavaScript unit testing tools (e.g., Jest, Mocha, etc). 1-3 years of experience.
  • Load Testing:
     Familiarity with load testing frameworks (e.g., K6, Artillery, etc). 1-3 years of experience.
  • Adaptability:
    Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
  • Problem-Solving Skills:
    Exhibit exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bonus:
     Experience with visual regression testing or mobile app automation.
