CAMERON FARMS COLONY SCHOOL - located north of Taber (from Taber, 14.5 km north on highway 864, 16 km west on township road 112).

Regular Colony Educational Assistant – approx. 27 hours/week

Monday – Thursday 8:50 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. & Fridays 8:35 a.m. – 11:35 p.m.

Horizon Colony Schools is looking for an Education Assistant at Cameron Farms Colony School.

Ideally, candidates will:

  • be prepared to always demonstrate respect for Hutterite culture, traditions and beliefs.
  • have a positive attitude about children, learning and schools.
  • have a critical role in instruction, under the supervision of the teacher.
  • be able to work well independently, with the teacher, and with the school learning team.
  • provide support to students on a 1:1 basis or with small group instruction.
  • support English as an Additional Language Learners in language acquisition (early literacy and numeracy skills).
