Canvac Systems Inc is professional hydrovac/vacuum truck repair business in Burlington, ON. We pride ourselves in quality workmanship and friendly service.

Here at Canvac Systems we service hydrovac trucks, vacuum trucks and trailers, hot/cold water pressure wash systems, electrical systems, pumps and much more. We do not take care of chassis work (Brakes, steering, suspension, ect). We are interested in having a person with a strong mechanical apptitude, and a strong care factor to join our team. We do not require a licensed mechanic as we are only taking care of the mounted equipment on the truck and not the truck itself.

Millwright Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Automotive Mechanic, Truck Mechanic or many others would be welcomed to apply.

We are looking for an experienced Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking care of mechanical repairs on vacuum trucks, pressure washers, and more, in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate must have a valid driver's license, experience repairing equipment, and a strong understanding of the mechanical and electrical components of the machinery. We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and has excellent problem-solving skills.

Clean driver's abstract, and tools to do the job needed. (Specialty tools are supplied by company)

Pay rate will be determined by experience and capability.

Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical repair of electrical, hydraulics, pneumatic systems.
  • Pump repair (Water pump, vacuum pump, hydraulic pump)
  • Understand and follow safety procedures.
  • Perform maintenance on equipment.
  • Work with others to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
