Financial Analyst – SAP S4Hana

  • Support the finance workstream of the SAP S/4HANA implementation project.
  • Assist with data migration, validation for finance master data and historical transactions and support testing cycles.
  • Support the finance and operations teams with product costing, routing reviews, labour and overhead rate validations and standard inventory valuation.
  • Conduct BOM and Routing audits to ensure data accuracy.
  • Analysis and reporting of manufacturing variances under S4Hana and work with operations to resolve discrepancies.
  • Create reporting templates and reporting instructions for monthly cost reports to support margin analysis.
  • Support with migration of fixed assets ledger, and implementation of fixed asset module, while monitoring capital project to ensure proper capitalization and ensure compliance with internal controls, company capitalization policies.
  • Assist in conversion of master data – WorkCentre, internal orders, vendor and customer data.
  • Support the annual standard cost roll, annual budget and forecasting process.
  • Prepare and enter month-end journal entries & assist in month end close and preparation of month end reporting package as assigned.
  • Complete account reconciliations as assigned.
  • Assist in reviewing the requisition log.
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end audit package.
  • Follow all departmental and general procedures where applicable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager and/or Department Manager.
  • Abide by all company safety rules, responsibilities, policies, and procedures including the legislative requirements of the OHSA.
  • Work in compliance and conform to the Environment and ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards.
  • Adopt and practice Kaizen principles; participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities.
