Job Description:
Our team is growing, and we are actively looking to hire a Manager, Casualty Claims Bodily Injury. In this role, you will be responsible forleading a team of approximately 10Claims Advisors, providing leadership, and ensuring the efficient management of senior level bodily injury claims. This role requires a strategic mindset, as the manager will drive results that support key performance indicators (KPIs) with a focus on early resolutions. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with various departments including underwriting, agents, and other claims units.
Accountabilities
- Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of newer-level Bodily Injury Claims Advisors, fostering professional growth and expertise.
- Offer coaching to improve technical capabilities and enhance performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and develop individual development plans to ensure continuous improvement.
- Lead the execution of best practices in claims handling, with a focus on early resolution strategies for bodily injury claims.
- Monitor the quality and timeliness of claims management to ensure compliance with company guidelines, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Establish clear goals and objectives for the team to align with departmental and organizational targets.
- Monitor staffing levels and workload distribution.
- Identify potential bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the claims process and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience and working knowledge in Bodily Injury claims handling
- Experience in a people leadership capacity
- Knowledge of liability claims handling is an asset
- Strong knowledge of Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint. Guidewire experience is an asset
- Proven ability to develop strategies for efficiently resolving files directly with plaintiff counsel
- Demonstrated expertise in analyzing data and recommending solutions

Description du poste :
Notre équipe, en plein essor, est à la recherche d'un directeur ou d'une directrice, réclamations accidents, dommages corporels. À ce titre, la personne retenue sera chargée de diriger une équipe d'environ 10 conseillers en indemnité d'accident, de faire preuve de leadership et d'assurer une gestion efficace des réclamations accidents pour dommages corporels. Ce poste requiert un esprit stratégique, en vue d'obtenir des résultats qui soutiendront les indicateurs de rendement clés (IRC) en mettant l'accent sur les résolutions rapides. Le candidat retenu collaborera de manière transversale avec différentes équipes, notamment la Souscription, les agents et d'autres services des Réclamations.
Responsabilités
- Fournir des conseils et un encadrement à une équipe de conseillers en réclamations, dommages corporels nouvellement arrivés, en favorisant leur développement professionnel et le perfectionnement de leur expertise.
- Proposer un accompagnement pour améliorer les capacités techniques et la performance.
- Procéder à des évaluations régulières des performances, fournir un retour d'information et élaborer des plans de développement individuels afin d'assurer une amélioration continue.
- Diriger l'exécution des pratiques exemplaires en matière de gestion des réclamations, en mettant l'accent sur les stratégies de résolution rapide des réclamations d'accident avec dommages corporels.
- Contrôler la qualité et la rapidité de la gestion des demandes de réclamations afin de garantir la conformité avec les lignes directrices de l'entreprise, les exigences légales et les normes du secteur.
- Fixer des buts et des objectifs clairs pour l'équipe afin d'assurer son alignement sur les objectifs du service et de l'organisation.
- Contrôler les niveaux dotation et la répartition de la charge de travail.
- Identifier les goulets d'étranglement potentiels ou les inefficacités dans le processus de traitement des demandes de réclamations et mettre en œuvre des mesures correctives.
Compétences
- Expérience en gestion de réclamations pour dommages corporels
- Expérience en gestion d'équipe
- Expérience dans la gestion des réclamations de responsabilité en Alberta
- Connaissance pratique approfondie de Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint. Expérience avec Guidewire, un atout.
- Capacité avérée à développer des stratégies pour résoudre efficacement les dossiers directement avec les avocats des plaignants.
- Expertise démontrée dans l'analyse des données et la recommandation de solutions.
- Détenir le titre de professionnel (le) d'assurance agréé(e) (PAA), préférablement.
