Security Guard

Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various security situations. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe environment for employees, visitors, and property.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify suspicious activity
• Enforce security protocols and company policies at all times
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security incidents
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
• Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks or thefts
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
• Conduct security checks on entrances, exits, and sensitive areas

Experience

• Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred
• Familiarity with surveillance systems and CCTV operation is highly desirable
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and procedures is a plus
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle stressful situations professionally

Pay: $17.88-$19.00 per hour
