About The Role
We are seeking a
Strategic Engagement Partner
to help execute CAAT's growth strategy to serve 400,000 members by 2040. Reporting to the Director, Pension Solutions, this position is responsible for developing strategic relationships, enhancing CAAT's presence across sectors, and driving business growth of CAAT's modern defined benefit pension plan.
This role will also focus on supporting project management activities for the Pension Solutions Team. The incumbent will coordinate cross-functional initiatives, ensure deliverables and timelines are achieved, and represent the Growth Team's needs through planning and execution.
As The Newest Member Of Our Team, You'll
- Support CAAT's growth strategy by identifying, qualifying and cultivating new opportunities.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with employer representatives, industry partners, and decision-makers.
- Partner with the Decision Support and Onboarding teams to ensure a smooth experience for employers transitioning to the plan.
- Represent and champion CAAT at industry events and conferences, promoting the organization's value proposition and purpose.
- Use Salesforce CRM to document, manage, monitor leads, and pipeline activity, ensuring accurate data and timely follow-up.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Research, and Data teams to develop outreach campaigns and materials that enhance visibility and employer awareness.
- Coordinate and monitor projects that support the Growth Team's objectives and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful execution.
- Maintain project documentation, monitor progress, and prepare updates, dashboards, and summaries for the Director and broader team.
To Succeed, You Bring
- 7-10 years of experience in business development, client relationship management, or similar.
- Post-secondary education in business administration, finance, project management, or similar.
- Experience within the pension or financial industry. Exposure to jointly sponsored or multi-employer pension plans is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating and supporting complex, multi-stakeholder projects, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strategic business development and growth mindset, with the demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and support initiatives that expand CAAT'S reach and impact.
- Proven ability to communicate and build trust and credibility with stakeholders at various levels.
- Experience with CRM solutions (Salesforce experience preferred), and the Microsoft 365 suite.
- The ability to travel periodically within Ontario and occasionally across Canada.
- Flexibility for occasional evening or weekend work.
The target hiring salary for this position is $122, $152, Placement within our salary range will be based on factors such as internal equity, market conditions, and the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
