Senior Social Media Advisor
, you play a crucial role in positioning our brand on social media to generate interest and engagement.
What You'll Do Here
- Develop and implement a multi-platform social media strategy aligned with the business and marketing objectives of each market.
- Adapt content for each platform (Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Twitch, etc.) while ensuring consistency with the brand.
- Stay at the forefront of social media trends, emerging platforms, and industry best practices.
- Create, curate, and oversee engaging and high-quality multimedia content.
- Ensure content complies with market, product, and brand guidelines.
- Manage the social media editorial calendar, ensuring timely execution of campaigns and content updates.
- Guide internal and external stakeholders to maximize social media initiatives and ensure message and brand consistency.
- Use analytics tools to monitor campaign performance, extract insights, and adjust strategies to optimize engagement and highlight return on investment.
What You Bring To The Table
- Ability to align social media strategies with the priorities and business objectives of a large company while remaining agile, impactful, and relevant to audiences, adapting to evolving social media trends and best practices.
- Industry expertise: a minimum of six years of proven experience in managing social media for large accounts or companies.
- Excellent judgment, ability to assess brand safety and sensitive issues, and to translate business priorities into engaging, platform-appropriate content that captures the target audience's interest.
- Creative and strategic thinking: ability to combine creativity with data-driven decision making.
- Analytical skills: data-driven, ability to use data and tools to evaluate performance metrics, generate reports, and inform strategic decisions.
- Innovation: ability to experiment with new content formats, storytelling techniques, and experiences.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and ability to collaborate effectively with designers and video and content creators to produce high-quality multimedia resources in line with best practices.
- Multichannel proficiency: proven ability to manage and create content on various social media platforms, adapting strategies to fit the audience and best practices of each channel.
- Collaboration experience: proven ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive social media initiatives, and train internal teams on best practices.
- Tools: proficiency with social media tracking and reporting tools and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Bilingual (French and English) - Must regularly interact with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the country.
- No Canadian work experience is required, but you must be eligible to work in Canada.
