Key Responsibilities

  • Installation: Trans equipment (e.g., setting pricing, updating music selections).
  • Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine preventative maintenance, such as cleaning components, lubricating mechanical parts, and adjusting machine settings to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnosis: Inspect malfunctioning machines to determine the cause of the problem, which may involve using hand-held diagnostic computers, and replace or repair defective mechanical and electrical parts using hand tools and wiring diagrams.
  • On-site Service Calls: Respond to service calls to address specific issues, such as jammed money mechanisms or non-functioning equipment, aiming to resolve the problem efficiently on location.
  • Inventory and Cash Management: Refill machines with products, change, or other supplies; collect cash and bills from machines; record transactions; and settle accounts with concessionaires.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance performed, repairs made, parts ordered, and money collected.
  • Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and location personnel, addressing complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction with machine performance and service.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical and electrical skills, experience with electronics, and the ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: The ability to use logic and reasoning to identify and solve complex problems efficiently.
  • Physical Stamina: The role requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift and move heavy equipment, and the physical capacity to work in various environmental conditions.
  • Independence and Dependability: The ability to work alone reliably with minimal supervision and manage time effectively to follow an established route or schedule.
  • Valid Driver's License: A clean driving record is often required, as a company vehicle may be provided for traveling to various work sites.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically the minimum requirement, with some employers preferring relevant technical training or on-the-job experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
