Position Overview

This co-op position is responsible for assisting with basic accounting administration which includes posting, balancing and closing activities within accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing payments and tickets to producers
  • Verify invoices received and process payments for freight
  • Monitor customer invoices and accounts
  • Prepare and assist with month-end reports and journal entries
  • Verify, research and resolve discrepancies
  • Provide quality service to internal and external customers that is tactful and knowledgeable

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Pursuing degree in business-related major
  • Participant of university co-op program preferred
  • 0-2 years' relevant experience would be considered an asset
