Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and personable Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service while providing professional hair styling services. This role offers an opportunity to showcase creativity, build client relationships, and contribute to a welcoming salon environment. The position requires a passion for hair artistry and a commitment to sanitation standards, ensuring clients leave satisfied and confident.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of hair cutting, coloring, and styling services tailored to client preferences
  • Provide excellent customer service by listening carefully to clients' needs and offering professional advice
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in accordance with health regulations
  • Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client experience and salon revenue
  • Foster strong client relationships through effective communication skills and personalized service
  • Stay updated on current hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Barber or Stylist with a strong portfolio of work
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Knowledge of hair styling techniques, coloring, and cutting methods
  • Strong understanding of sanitation protocols and safety standards in a salon environment
  • Ability to upsell retail products and promote salon services effectively
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage front desk responsibilities efficiently
  • Retail sales experience is a plus but not required
  • Front desk experience is advantageous but not mandatory
  • A valid cosmetology or barber license as required by state regulations
