Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and enforcement of safety protocols. This role is essential in safeguarding our facilities and providing peace of mind to staff and visitors alike.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
  • Monitor security cameras (CCTV) systems to oversee all areas of the property continuously.
  • Enforce access control procedures by checking identification and authorizations.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary.
  • Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches.
  • Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and deterring theft or vandalism.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff with inquiries while maintaining security protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures to uphold a secure environment.

Experience

  • Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques is highly desirable.
  • Strong observational skills coupled with the ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining vigilance throughout shifts. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the safety of our community while developing valuable skills in security operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$24.26 per hour
