Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, communication, and efficient route management to meet the needs of our clients and support our operations.

Duties

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver products to customers and warehouses.
  • Load and unload items using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
  • Ensure accurate delivery of goods, verifying orders against delivery manifests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle throughout the shift.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
  • Assist with warehouse operations including moving inventory as needed.
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during deliveries.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.

Skills

  • Experience with moving heavy items and operating forklifts is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
  • Previous warehouse experience is a plus, especially in logistics or distribution environments.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent license required.
  • Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic regulations.
  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.32-$20.00 per hour
