Job Overview

Joining the SAVI Family as an Industrial Painter will put you in an industrial setting, spraying a variety of different products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary.
• Operate power tools and hand tools to apply paint and coatings efficiently.
• Follow lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and minimize waste.
• Collaborate with assembly teams to ensure painted components meet quality standards.
• Conduct regular maintenance on painting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform basic math calculations for mixing paint ratios and measuring areas for coverage.
• Adhere to safety guidelines while working with chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Maintain safe and CLEAN work spaces, before during and after work is performed.
• Respectful to all clients, coworkers and so on.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn and work-hard
• We are a union shop so you will have to join the union to work with us, but our onboarding team guides you through the whole process
• You will need to reliably get to work at different sites, so a personal vehicle to do so is preferable

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
