We're looking for a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing Finance team and contribute to the continued success of our organization.

JOB OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in the preparation and analysis of financial information for multiple entities within the Oshawa Clinic Group. This position requires a self-motivated, collaborative, detailed, and hands-on accounting professional with strong technical skills, sound judgment, and advanced experience using NetSuite ERP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and journal entries.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare year-end working papers and assist with audits.
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and payroll as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Leverage NetSuite for reporting, analysis, and automation initiatives.
  • Operate in a safe way following all policies and procedures as outlined by the Oshawa Clinic Group and relevant legislation.

Qualifications:

  • A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, with a minimum of five (5) years of progressive responsibility within a financial department.
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency using NetSuite ERP (asset) and Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel to support analysis, trends, and forecasting.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and enthusiasm for being part of a functional team.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience (Range: $75,000 - $80,000 per annum)

Additional Information:

  • Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., plus additional hours as may be required.
