What You'll Do

• Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers for materials, components and service
• Create and issue Purchase orders for manufacturing and internal needs
• Track and expedite orders to ensure timely deliveries while developing supplier relationships
• Maintain a high standard of accurate document information for engineering and customer requirements
• Collaborate with warehouse, production and procurement to maintain inventory accuracy and ensure proper documentation
• Participate in developing and improving inventory management systems and processes
• Investigate inventory variances and coordinate corrective actions with production, quality and warehouse teams
• Assist in and conduct regular cycle counts and year end inventory

Requirements

• New graduates of Operations Management or experience in purchasing, inventory control or supply chain is a benefit
• Strong attention to detail, self motivated, with good communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as a team player
• Willing to learn in a busy Industrial Brake Manufacturing environment
