Snack Bar Attendant

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Concession Stand Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving food and beverages. You will play a key role in ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Prepare and serve snacks, beverages, and light meals in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the snack bar area, including equipment and utensils.
• Assist in restocking supplies as needed to ensure availability of menu items.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment.
• Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and sanitation practices.
• Hold a valid Food Handlers Certification or be willing to obtain one before starting work.
• Experience with cashiering and operating POS systems is advantageous.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
