Afternoons Shift positions: Monday – Friday 2:30pm – 11:00pm (5 X 8 hours)
Night Shift positions: Sunday – Thursday 10:30pm – 7:00am (5 X 8 hours)
If you are a Machine Operator with an attention to detail and have a proven track record of effectively working as part of a team to meet production deadlines in a fast paced, high volume environment, are self-motivated, energetic and display positive enthusiasm toward being the best you can be, we are interested in talking with you.
Responsibilities include:
• Ensures all safety devices are in proper placement before operating any equipment
• Applies safe work practices in material handling and machine operation
• May set-up, operator, inspect and assess the general condition of equipment –reporting deficiencies immediately
• Ensures inspection gauges are in good state and include calibration sticker
• Continually perform visual inspection of parts for high quality and records applicable information
• Job tasks require constant manual dexterity with a high level of speed, precision and co-ordination.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
• Must have excellent English and math skills
• Must have basic mechanical, measurement and computer skills
• Basic knowledge of an ISO/TS environment
