Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled machinists to join our team in a machining environment, supporting the production of aerospace components. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating manual lathes, grinders, deburring equipment, to produce high-quality parts.

Job Responsibilities for Manual Lathe Machinist:

  • Operate manual lathes to produce precision parts
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Set up and adjust lathe equipment
  • Conduct quality control checks
  • 5 years of experience in manual lathe operation
  • Set up and operate manual lathes (horizontal or vertical) to achieve precise specifications and tolerances.
  • Machine large castings into finished products, ensuring quality and precision in every component.
  • Machining experience with high quality metals such as Inconel, Titanium, Aluminum, stainless steel
  • Knowledge working with tight tolerances cylindrical parts of various lengths and wall thickness.

Job responsibilities for Machinist - Precision Cylindrical Grinder:

  • - Operate grinders to produce precision parts
  • - Set up and adjust grinder equipment
  • - Conduct quality control checks
  • - 5 years of experience in cylindrical grinding
  • - Maintain a safe and organized work environment
  • - Set up and operate cylindrical, thread, and surface grinders to machine parts to print with close tolerances of inch.
  • - Set up and operate conventional machine tools, including lathes, mills, and drill presses.
  • - Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate grinding operations.
  • - Select and apply appropriate grinding wheels, coolants, and other consumables to achieve desired finishes.
  • - Inspect and measure components using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • - Troubleshoot grinding issues and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • - Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company safety protocols and procedures.
