About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to join a growing primary healthcare clinic. This role is ideal for an NP who enjoys delivering high-quality, low-volume primary care services in a streamlined, modern clinical environment. The initial contract term is 9 months starting early March 2026, with a strong possibility of extension or transition into a permanent position.
Scope of Practice
The Nurse Practitioner will provide focused primary healthcare services, including but not limited to:
- Routine primary care visits and health assessments
- Preventative health screenings and wellness exams
- Management of common acute conditions (e.g., URIs, UTIs, minor infections)
- Chronic disease monitoring (e.g., hypertension, hyperlipidemia, stable diabetes)
- Women's and men's health services within NP scope
- Health education and lifestyle counseling
- Ordering and interpreting routine laboratory investigations
- Coordinating referrals to specialists as needed

Qualifications
- Registered Nurse Practitioner Extended Class in good standing with the College of Ontario
- Authorization to practice as an NP in Ontario
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently within defined protocols
- Experience in primary care, family medicine, or preventative health preferred

Compensation:
- $115,000 - $125,000 for the 9-month contract
