ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a licensed and insured hairdresser to provide hair care services to residents in our nursing home. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors by helping them look and feel their best.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide haircuts, sets, and beard trims for residents.
  • Maintain a clean and professional work area.
  • Ensure respectful and compassionate integrations with all residents.
  • Comply with infection control, safety, and privacy policies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be licensed and insured (proof required)
  • Vulnerable Sector Check required prior to starting
  • Experience working with seniors is an asset
  • Reliable, professional, and friendly demeanor.

COMPENSATION:

Bay Haven will bill residents directly for services and pay the contractor monthly based on completed appointments.

SCHEDULE:

  • Once per week (flexible day)
  • Nursing Home residents only
