Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Civil CAD Drafter located in North York, ON. The Civil CAD Drafter will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts for civil and survey engineering projects. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with project teams, interpreting site data and design specifications, modifying existing drawings, and ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards and project requirements. The role contributes to the efficient execution of infrastructure and civil development projects.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D for drafting and creating technical drawings
  • Knowledge of civil engineering principles, utility systems, and infrastructure design
  • Ability to read, interpret, and produce detailed site plans, layouts, and schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in all work
  • Experience with project collaboration tools and ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines
  • Experience in transportation or municipal infrastructure projects is an asset
  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field
