This role will act as Network Security Lead/Technical Delivery Architect and be fully hands-on, focused heavily on network security, app load balancing and enterprise-level application networking, leading project-based implementation and automated deployment working closely with app teams and architecture team to design and solution as well.

Posting Type: Replacement Position.
Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $113,282 - $148,682.
Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
Your Moneris Career - What You'll Do
As the network engineering lead, you will lead technical delivery of network projects, implementation, and configuration of primarily on-prem as well as cloud networks in an automated way, as applicable using Terraform and Ansible.
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of network solutions—from requirements gathering and design to implementation and operational handoff.
Be the single point of contact for application owners for infrastructure deployments during the project and design phase, acting as the key focal point for coordination and delivery.
Be a Network subject matter expert to important Business and Technology stakeholders.
Develop network automation and deploy network services and platforms using automation tools.
Participate and/or lead projects with development, applications, and operations teams to engineer, deploy, and support technical solutions.
Provide support for escalated, complex incidents and problems from operations and application teams that impact Moneris and our merchants' critical workflows.
Your Moneris Career - What You Bring
Minimum 10 years of experience working in a senior technical or engineering position.
Experience deploying and migrating network security infrastructure, solutioning and network automation.
In-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols (i.e.: BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS), SD-WAN/SASE, firewall and network access management solutions.
Experience leading datacenter migration and complex network upgrade projects including modernizing legacy stacks of firewalls, load balancers, and other networking gear.
Hands-on expertise implementing and managing Palo Alto Networks Firewalls, Cisco ACI, F5 BIG-IP, WAF and cloud networking services.
Experience working in cross-functional teams using Agile methodology, including SCRUM and KANBAN.
Deploy network infra using Infrastructure as Code tools (mostly Terraform and Ansible) and promote automation and infrastructure best practices.
Familiarity with Cloudflare or CDN technologies is considered a strong asset.
Proficiency in payment systems and the merchant acquiring business (considered an asset)
Certifications: PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer) is considered an asset.
