Job Summary

We are seeking a Part-time Insulator helper to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing insulation systems in commercial and residential buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, blueprint reading, and the use of hand tools. The Insulator plays a vital part in ensuring energy efficiency and safety standards are met across various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, and install insulation materials according to project specifications and blueprints
  • Use hand tools such as caulking guns, knives, and other construction tools to perform installations accurately
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine insulation requirements and placement
  • Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure insulation is properly secured and airtight
  • Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate installation schedules and ensure safety compliance
  • Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments or repairs
  • Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly

Legally allowed to work in Canada

Can work 3 times a week preferrable Wednesday to Saturday

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week

Work Location: In person
