Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong understanding of food preparation techniques. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently and that our guests receive high-quality meals in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to food safety guidelines
  • Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality

Skills

  • Strong cooking skills with experience in food preparation techniques
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred
