Job Description
Main Role:
Manage time and ensure accurate and timely movement of the trailers at the Cavendish Plant.

Work Schedule
: 4 on – 4 off (2 days / 2 nights

Responsibilities

  • Moving trailers within the yard safely and efficiently
  • Refuel refrigerated units as required
  • Perform routine checks on the reefers and conduct yard checks
  • Maintain company equipment standards
  • Ensure timely movement of trailers to assigned locations
  • Communicate efficiently with the Supervisor
  • Report any incident, accident, injury, damage immediately

Qualifications

  • Education Required: High School or GED
  • Class 1 driver's license with a minimum of 4 years' safe commercial driving experience required
  • Clean driver's abstract and criminal search.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment.
  • Excellent work ethic and reliability.
  • Safety conscious.
