Greenway Carriers is a trucking company based in Mississauga running mainly dry vans to the Southern and Mid western states of the United States from Ontario and Quebec.
We are looking for a Dispatcher that has experience doing city dispatch.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Creating pick up and delivery appointments
- Reviewing dispatch board constantly to see what City work needs to be done
- Creating city schedule for the next day
- Dispatching city drivers
- Managing trailer inventory
- Communicating with customers about anticipated delays and appointments
- Updating dispatch board with city work as completed
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, prepare and submit reports, and conduct performance reviews
- Plan trips
- Work with tight deadlines
- Must pay attention to detail
- Work under pressure
- Fast-paced environment
- Must be a team player
- Must possess great organizational skills
- Excellent oral communication and written communication
