What you'll do:

The Home Centre Manager is responsible for providing an exceptional level of customer service and maintaining a safe and efficient operation while adhering to all company policies, procedures, and standards, including meeting established productivity standards.

· To be responsible for the management, maintenance, and security of the store location and property while providing operational direction and oversight in the implementation of programs and policies.

· To oversee adherence to brand and merchandising standards, image standards, safety, and asset protection within the Hardware and Lumber Departments

· To be responsible to prepare, administer, and achieve budgeted goals as it relates to the pricing, sales, margins, expenses, and inventory of the commodity.

· To provide leadership to the team, including the recruitment, goal setting, performance management, training and development of team members.

· To be responsible for building strong customer relationships and delivering solutions and to oversee and monitor client satisfaction levels, ensure customer issues are resolved, and identify areas for improvement.

· To be responsible for leading the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies to drive growth in hardware and lumber product lines.

· To be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships, with regular engagement of external customers and contractors to drive sales growth.

· To oversee the completion and follow through of all safety and environmental policies and procedures and ensure standards are achieved while being responsible for coordination and oversight of all safety, maintenance, and asset protection policies.

Who you are:

If you are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and have:

· Comprehensive understanding of lumber products and related processes, with experience in sales and quote estimation.

· Experience in the retail, hardware, or material industry

· 6 – 9 years of relevant experience, including 3 years of leadership experience.

· Valid Class 5 driver's License

· Knowledge of commodity sales, gross margin and inventory management

· You are honest and trustworthy and have the proven ability to motivate and lead Team members

· You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
