Part Time Interim Literacy Support Teacher

Holy Spirit Catholic School is a Kindergarten to Grade 9 School

Holy Spirit Catholic School invites applications for a part time interim Literacy Support Teacher position in Devon, Alberta. The assignment is a 0.4 FTE, scheduled for full days Mondays and Wednesdays. The successful candidate will provide targeted instructional support to students in early literacy development for the school year.

Working collaboratively with classroom teachers, educational assistants, and other support staff, the Literacy Support Teacher helps to strengthen foundational reading, writing, and oral language skills for young learners. The role focuses on early intervention and the use of evidence-based literacy practices to ensure all students build strong literacy foundations.

Qualifications & Application Process

  • Recent pastoral reference

  • Verification of qualifications (Alberta Teacher Certificate) and experience
