Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. This role involves providing exceptional service to our clients by performing maintenance, repairs, and installations of various systems and equipment. The Service Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and plumbing fixtures.
  • Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues with equipment.
  • Conduct field service operations including troubleshooting mechanical problems.
  • Install and maintain air conditioning systems, boilers, and other HVAC/R equipment.
  • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics and repairs.
  • Execute appliance repair tasks as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address any mechanical or service-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all tasks.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a related field such as construction or property maintenance.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC design, refrigeration, plumbing, and appliance repair.
  • Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
  • Experience with welding and equipment repair is highly desirable.
  • A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
