The Manager, Project Management (PMO) Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Global Technology, Innovation, and Data (TID) plays a pivotal role in shaping and operationalizing project delivery standards, methodologies, and tools across the TID organization, driving PMO maturity, fostering consistent delivery practices, and serving as a key enabler of portfolio visibility, governance, and execution excellence. In addition to these responsibilities, the Manager PMO is the lead administrator and custodian of Four Seasons' project management software ecosystem, overseeing configuration, optimization, and governance of workspaces, boards, and dashboards to ensure alignment with PMO standards and organizational objectives while maintaining data integrity and enforcing naming conventions, workflows, and permissions for accurate portfolio reporting.

This role drives adoption of PM software across global teams by providing hands-on support, training, and best practices for project planning, resource allocation, and task tracking, while developing templates and automation within tools to standardize project delivery and reduce administrative overhead. Acting as the subject matter expert for PMs, the Manager leverages advanced features such as integrations with Teams, Outlook, and Jira, automations, and dashboards to enhance visibility and collaboration, monitors usage metrics and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement, and implements enhancements that increase efficiency and user satisfaction. Additionally, the Manager provides real-time insights into project health, resource utilization, and delivery timelines, creating executive dashboards for leadership to track strategic initiatives and KPIs across the TID portfolio, and delivering tangible outcomes such as customized project templates for technology initiatives, automated workflows for status updates and stakeholder notifications, and portfolio dashboards that aggregate data from multiple boards for enterprise-level visibility and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

PMO Standards, Governance & Strategic Enablement

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of PMO standards, frameworks, and templates (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

  • Govern PMO reporting cadence and ensure project health metrics, KPIs, and dashboards are accurate and timely.

  • Contribute to PMO strategic planning, CoE scaling roadmap, and capability uplift initiatives.

  • Champion continuous improvement by gathering feedback from project teams and integrating enhancements into PMO standards.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Agile, DevOps, and EA CoEs to harmonize methodologies and remove duplication.

Project Management Tools Administration & Adoption

  • Serve as lead administrator and custodian of Four Seasons' project management software ecosystem, overseeing configuration, optimization, and governance of workspaces, boards, and dashboards to ensure alignment with PMO standards and organizational objectives.

  • Maintain data integrity and enforce naming conventions, workflows, and permissions for accurate portfolio reporting.

  • Monitor usage metrics and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and implement enhancements that increase efficiency and user satisfaction.

Portfolio Visibility, Reporting & Knowledge Management

  • Activate reporting capabilities to provide real-time insights into project health, resource utilization, and delivery timelines.

  • Create executive dashboards for leadership to track strategic initiatives and KPIs across the TID portfolio.

  • Deliver tangible outcomes such as customized project templates for technology initiatives, automated workflows for status updates and stakeholder notifications, and portfolio dashboards that aggregate data from multiple boards for enterprise-level visibility and decision-making.

  • Manage onboarding and training programs for project managers and delivery teams, ensuring adoption of PMO processes and tools (e.g., , Jira, PowerBI).

  • Lead the PMO knowledge management strategy, maintaining repositories of templates, playbooks, and best practices.

  • Support delivery assurance through partnership with delivery functions for periodic project reviews, lessons learned, and maturity assessments.

Core Competencies / Skills

  • Deep understanding of project and portfolio management principles (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

  • Strong facilitation, communication, and training delivery skills.

  • Proven experience building or operating within a PMO or CoE environment.

  • Analytical mindset with experience in metrics design and KPI tracking.

  • Proficiency with PM tools such as , Jira, and PowerBI.

  • Ability to influence and collaborate across senior levels of the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in project/program management or PMO operations.

  • Experience establishing or scaling a PMO or delivery framework.

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar certification preferred.

  • Strong data literacy and reporting capability.

  • Background in technology or digital transformation preferred.

This role will be a Hybrid working model, which will require 3 days per week at our temporary 20 York Mills Road, Toronto, Ontario location with travel, as needed, to our the Four Seasons Corporate Office located at 1165 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario #LI-Hybrid
