Drywall Installer

Established in 2004, MODUS has successfully provided innovative and cost-effective building solutions to the educational, commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional sectors.

Role Description

We are hiring experienced Drywall Installers/Boarders to work on multiple projects inside our production facility. This is for our afternoon shift Monday to Thursday 2 PM to 12:30 AM.

Duties:

• Install drywall sheets accurately and efficiently on walls and ceilings.
• Measure, cut, and fit drywall to openings, corners, and structural elements.
• Ensure surfaces are level, plumb, and properly secured.
• Operate tools safely, including saws, screw guns, lifts, and cutting tools.
• Read drawings and follow installation specifications.
• Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and require minimal supervision.

Required Experience:

• 1–5 years of drywall boarding/installation experience (modular construction experience an asset).
• Safe and proficient use of drywall tools and equipment.
• Ability to read construction drawings and follow specifications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Demonstrated sense of urgency and dedication to quality craftsmanship.

Location:

This role is based at our 200,000 -square-foot indoor manufacturing facility in Crossfield, Alberta, located 20 minutes north of Calgary. Strategically positioned near a High Load Corridor, we can transport loads up to 9 meters high to various parts of Alberta, Saskatchewan, BC, and the United States. Our employees reside in Calgary, Airdrie, and surrounding communities.
