Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPNs) to manage our Community Care Division. In this role, you will provide quality client care, perform a variety of nursing tasks within your scope of practice, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes in a home care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer treatments as prescribed by physicians as well as work with the other nurses in the agency to ensure clients receive proper healthcare
- Maintain accurate and timely client records and documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams as required
- Complete monthly reports for funders
- Support community health workers to ensure the highest standard of client care
- Complete and submit montly reports to funders
- Provide education as needed to the community health workers
Qualifications & Skills
- Current registration with BCCNM as an LPN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Proficient in medical terminology and clinical documentation
- Compassionate, client-focused approach to care
- Managerial experience an asset
