Job Overview

Talented Care Inc. is preparing to resume and expand its home care services in Armstrong, BC. We are seeking a reliable and organized Operations & Care Services Officer to support the relaunch and early-stage operations of our community-based home care services.

This role will focus on administrative setup, staff recruitment, client coordination, and operational readiness. As services resume, the role will transition into ongoing operational support. Candidates with care experience may also provide direct care services when required.

Duties

  • Assist with setting up and coordinating early-stage home care operations
  • Support administrative systems, documentation, and scheduling processes
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and coordination of care staff
  • Support client intake and service readiness as operations resume
  • Maintain accurate records and support regulatory compliance
  • Communicate with clients, families, and caregivers
  • Support community outreach and business development activities
  • Provide direct care services when qualified and required

Requirements

  • Proven experience in operations management or a related field, with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to coordinate teams effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools such as MS Office Suite, ERP systems, or project management platforms.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and solve problems efficiently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Nice-to-have skills include experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), project management certification, or familiarity with industry-specific regulations. This role is integral to maintaining seamless operations within our organization while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in administration, operations, or a related role
  • Experience in home care, healthcare, or senior services preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a start-up or relaunch environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada

Assets:

  • Caregiving certification (HCA, PSW, or equivalent)
  • Recruitment or HR experience
  • Knowledge of BC home care standards
